Hello! I’m an NYC-based journalist and senior reporter at New York Focus. My work focuses on a variety of topics including New York state government, housing, labor, and elections.

I’ve written for The San Francisco Chronicle, The Intercept, The Nation, The Appeal, Jacobin, THE CITY, In These Times, City & State, The American Prospect, medievalists.net, and others.

My work has been cited by the U.S. House Oversight Committee, in publications including The New York Times, The New York Post, The Daily News, New York Magazine, Politico, Slate, Gothamist, and The American Criminal Law Review, and I’ve appeared on The Brian Lehrer Show, The Majority Report, and other radio and podcast programs to discuss my reporting.

I’ve also worked as a chef, research assistant, and political organizer in North Dakota.
